Job Overview
The Contractor Consultants is seeking a highly experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a leader with deep knowledge of heavy civil construction, project management expertise, and a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in wastewater treatment plant projects and a proven ability to drive projects to completion while ensuring profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
Enforce all company and client safety policies in collaboration with the Safety Department.
Serve as a leader in implementing and promoting COP's Corporate Safety Policy.
Ensure all required safety reports are completed within 24 hours.
Pre-Construction Planning
Review and interpret construction documents (contracts, submittals, plans, specs, drawings, as-builts, etc.).
Attend pre-construction meetings with project teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
Set up budgets, cost codes, subcontracts, and purchase agreements.
Coordinate with the Contract Administrator to ensure all contractual insurance and indemnification requirements are met.
Secure permits, transmittals, and submittals required for project execution.
Project Execution & Management
Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Oversee subcontractor management, ensuring compliance with all contract requirements.
Track and update project costs, revenue projections, and material quantities.
Oversee and ensure accuracy in project billing, payment tracking, and documentation.
Project Closeout
Conduct final walkthroughs with the project team, owner, architect, and engineers.
Audit all paid quantities and submit substantial completion documentation. Qualifications
10+ years of supervisory experience in heavy civil water/wastewater construction.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
Proven ability to lead and manage projects with strict timelines and budgets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn new construction software.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts, and specifications.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients, engineers, co-workers, and subcontractors.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to remote construction sites as needed.
Experience with wastewater treatment plant projects is a plus. Benefits & Perks
