Liquid Process Equipment (“LPE”), is a fast-growing, value-added distributor of sanitary process equipment — think pumps and valves used in making milk, cheese, ice cream, chocolate, and more! We're proud to serve major Fortune 500 customers, and with our service and rebuild facility in Kaukauna, WI, we’re more than just a distributor — we’re a trusted partner for our Customer’s processing needs.

We're coming off our best year ever in 2024, and with continued growth ahead — including moving into a brand-new office building in Summer 2025. We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Applications Engineer to support outside sales engineers in solution selling, specifying product, and meeting customer expectations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide frontline technical support to LPE’s customers and outside sales team

Respond to and provide technical expertise to quote requests from our outside sales team and customers directly.

Understand and master LPE’s product and equipment technology

Analyze and review customer specifications both from a technical and industrial perspective to support product selection and specification.

Generate pricing quotations on behalf of customers for parts supplied by LPE’s key vendors and our in-house value-add capabilities.

Review margins through the quoting process and are in line with company targets and guidelines.

Develop relationships with key customers through collaboration with LPE’s outside sales team and other members of the customer support team.

Attend company and factory training sessions as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Profile

Professional verbal and written communication skills

Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Process Applications Software.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent organizational and follow up skills

Proactive, high energy and entrepreneurial mindset

Flexible and solutions-oriented

Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize accordingly.

Ability to develop thorough understanding of primary product offerings.

Four Year Degree in Engineering, Business or Related Field
