The IT Lead Application Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics CE applications, the Power Platform, and associated integrations at FBIN primarily for Service to start with. This position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Service systems and processes while driving continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing project-related tasks. The position will also lead any future MS Dynamics Sales CRM discovery and implementations. Success in this role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and other IT team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Position location – This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. What you will be doing

We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Microsoft Dynamics CE & Power Platform Application Analyst to join our high performing team focused majorly on the Service processes. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform to shape the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions within FBIN’s Service domain. The role will also lead future Sale CRM discussions as we create that roadmap. Working in partnership with cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in identifying business challenges, driving scalable solutions, and optimizing processes to align with organizational goals.

System Support: Provide day-to-day system and application support, including user setup, management, and training. Troubleshoot and debug system issues.

Technical Development and Project Support: Utilize advanced programming expertise in Power Platform, JavaScript, plugins, Logic Apps, and other relevant tools to design, develop, and implement custom functionalities and seamless integrations. Tailor and enhance Dynamics CE features to align with specific business needs, and leverage Power BI reporting and analytics to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.

Business Requirements: Analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions within Dynamics CE. Create clear and effective reporting based on business requests.

System Optimization: Optimize system performance, ensure scalability, and suggest improvements to existing configurations and workflows. Facilitate upgrades, patching, and module implementations.

Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Dynamics modules and third-party systems. Provide technical leadership by coordinating and supporting managed services/external resources and priorities, mentoring junior developers and guiding the implementation of best practices. Collaborate with business teams to refine internal processes and systems, driving efficiency and standardization. Optimize system performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. Suggest innovative uses for new features introduced in semiannual releases and recommend enhancements to existing configurations and workflows to boost system performance and improve user experience.

Testing & Documentation: Conduct system testing, debugging, and documentation. Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of system configuration changes, workflows, process extensions, and events.

Governance & Risk Management: Leverage IT governance processes to ensure proper project definition and control. Manage risk through corporate compliance and support Agile methodologies.

Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest Dynamics CE and Power Platform technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

7+ years’ experience with Dynamics CE architecture development and implementation with Customer Service focus.

Strong understanding of Service CRM processes

Comfortable and competent in developing technical design specifications, documenting system and business processes from inception to completion to build organization and system knowledgebases.

Strong understanding of Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.

Experience with programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL.

Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.

Experience with Telephony integrations, preferably CXOne (Nice)

Self-motivated, team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Experience working with the offshore and ability to administrate the offshore delivery

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Hands-on focus on system usability, user training where applicable, and customer satisfaction.

Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with internal/external customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Functional Consultant Associate or similar certification.

Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.

Experience with Azure services like Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Data Factory.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Hands-on experience with data modeling and ETL processes.

Strong understanding of business processes in sales and marketing

Familiarity with other Enterprise CRM applications (Oracle, SAP C4C).

Additional Information:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
