Senior Financial Analyst

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST NEEDED - JACKSON, MICHIGAN

A Leading Automotive Supplier in Jackson, Michigan needs a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will assist the Divisional Controller in all aspects of financial / accounting related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Perform and responsible for A/P, A/R accounting duties

Perform and responsible for all types of financial analysis (ie. PPV and inventory analysis)

Assist with month-end closing including preparing and posting accrual journal entries

Assist with monthly financial statements and reports

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliation

Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters

Assist with weekly flash, quarterly forecast and annual budget

Assist with annual audit package

Additional duties as assigned

Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable

Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Divisional Controller

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years bookkeeping, data entry, and invoicing experience

Degree in Accounting or Business Administration

SAP Experience
