Specific Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment to include generators, wheeled/track vehicles, and semi-trailer combinations up to 70-ton capacity
Operate various types of forklifts and equipment to complete loading, unloading, warehousing and preparing equipment and supplies for transport
Receive daily tasks and assignments from the Maintenance supervisor
Examples of forklifts and equipment range from 2,000 pound to 50,000-pound capacity rough terrain (RT), and various types of wheeled cranes up through 25 tons
Must perform snow removal in winter months for all areas serviced
Perform preventative maintenance checks and services
Perform operator maintenance to include servicing vehicle braking systems, checking vehicle lights, and taking oil samples
Receive incoming warehouse items and equipment and check them for damage and serviceability
Issue/receive equipment; store equipment in the warehouse; load outgoing equipment
Prepare and post documents for the Army Oil Analysis Program and dispatching equipment
Prepare documents and warehouse reports
All other duties as assigned Requirements:
Class A CDL, or be willing to obtain one within 90 days
High level of Customer Service skills
Ability to work in a Team atmosphere
2 years of experience operating vehicles up to 70 tons including tractor trailer and/or engineer type equipment (Scrapers, Dozers, Graders and Dump trucks)
Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment
Ability to work in all-weather elements, including heat and cold
GCSS-Army experience a plus
This position requires a Personnel Security Investigation
Computer literacy a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
