ZAG is seeking an Asset Lifecycle Management Specialist to join our team. This position focuses on quoting, procurement activities, sourcing, supplier evaluation, price negotiation, contracting, reporting, reconciling sales orders, and CSP billing.

We are looking for a candidate in the San Jose area or nearby who is willing and able to work in the San Jose office a few days a week.

What you’ll be doing:

Develop and issue quotes per business requirements from ZAG sales and technical staff or clients.

Order and manage the delivery of all parts, supplies, and materials necessary to fulfill client orders.

Negotiate pricing with vendors and partners.

Accomplish department and organization goals by taking ownership of projects and accepting responsibility for completing tasks; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Inside sales support.

Facilitates vendor corrective action and partners with the ALM Manager to improve quality.

Creates and maintains mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers.

Performs as the purchasing subject matter expert for internal and external customers due to extensive knowledge of purchasing and product line operations.

Monitors supplier performance, communicates, and takes action to maintain high levels of supplier performance.

Accomplish department and organization goals by taking ownership of projects and accepting responsibility for completing tasks; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Monthly usage reporting.

Reconcile sales orders and CSP billing monthly.

Assist with special projects on an as-needed basis.

Presales support by working with technical contacts and vendors for specs, deal registrations, and pricing.

Qualifications:

Strong product procurement skills at a features/system level.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to make informed feature designs and decisions.

Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word, and exceptional Excel knowledge.

Experience with Halo is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different disciplines and locations to achieve results.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to meet specific deadlines

Self-motivated and results-driven.

Ability to handle a high volume of workload.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in sales operations, product procurement, or related role.
