Hours: Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm

MISSION

Improving the lives of individuals and families through Native American culturally appropriate behavioral health, affordable housing and community development services.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator reports to the Senior Director of Real Estate Development and assists with various project administration responsibilities. This role is relied on to provide the support needed to the Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in day-to-day project administration.

Assist in monitoring project schedules, budgets and expenditures.

Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings and training.

Ensure project documentation is maintained appropriately for each project, to include creating both electronic and paper filing systems.

Conduct file audits, reviewing all certification documentation for compliance with property specific funding source regulations, and ensuring all documentation is executed and organized according to company policy.

Assist in completing various funding applications for affordable housing financing.

Analyze and provide feedback and recommendations on vendor contracts for construction and other related services.

Attend site monitoring inspections conducted by regulatory agencies, lenders and investors as needed.

Completes all state and local required annual reporting.

Complete all rent increase requests to state and local agencies to include providing market comparisons to ensure all increase requests are fully approved.

Attends, as directed, project meetings, documenting action items and decisions from meetings.

Provides administrative support as needed.

EDUCATIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business or related field preferred.

Experience working with and knowledge of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, HUD housing funding programs, rental subsidy programs, and other various affordable housing funding sources.

At least 5 years’ experience in Affordable Housing Industry.

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Knowledge and proficiency with various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite 365. Proficiency with industry standard software applications such as RealPage preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

High level of organization and attention to detail.

Financial skills such as budgeting, accounting and analysis.

Sound judgement and decision making skills.

Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors and vendors.

Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills.

Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team approach.

Experience working with the Native American population preferred.
