Overview Assemble electronic or mechanical products from blueprints using assembly fixtures and power bench tools.

Cut & crimp wires, form, connect and perform simple soldering in accordance with instructions.

Fit and align fine electronic assemblies, recognize defective parts, inspect and test final assemblies on a variety of assembly operations Responsibilities * Experience with Kanban Inventory process * Count and record parts from inventory with accuracy using basic math skills * Communicate shortages, scrap and delays when applicable * Read caliper, tape measure and interpret work instructions * Identify the correct colored wire(s) per work instructions * Operate small hand and power tools * Perform cuts, crimps, connections and soldering * Use computer software to locate and print assembly drawings * Identify and obtain accurate assembly fixtures as called by Work Order * Assemble products to Work Order specifications * Perform assembly tasks to meet daily production standards of quality and quantity * Package product for shipment Qualifications Education and Experience: * High school or general education (GED) preferred * Computer experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) required * 2 years mechanical or electrical assembly preferred Skills and Abilities: * Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Complete standardized written documentation and correspondence.

* Professionally communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.

* Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands: * Environment is a modern production facility with heat and air conditioning * Ability to use fine motor skills (hand and fingers) to routinely manipulate assemblies, hand and power tools, wires, fixtures, and parts * The job requires the operation of material handling equipment * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally required to stand; bend, kneel, twist, reach overhead routinely to retrieve inventory or pack shipments * Required to maneuver routinely * Ability to lift up to 30 pounds routinely * Ability to lift 31 pounds to 50 pounds occasionally * Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance occasionally * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds over shoulders occasionally * Ability to lift over 25 pounds over shoulders rarely * Ability to push/pull up to 25 pounds regularly * Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally * Required to climb a ladder regularly * Required to safely ride product up to 14 feet in the air while performing product testing
