Description:

Duties include assisting in the preparation and maintenance of accurate payroll records; running and auditing citywide payroll; producing and maintaining various reports and performing pay related research; resolving pay or time-entry discrepancies; processing personnel changes; answering employee pay issue inquiries; and training timekeepers.

A high school diploma or equivalent, plus some college or specialized training in payroll is required.

Must have a minimum of two years experience processing payroll; and have experience with MS Office.

Starting pay for this position is Pay Grade GG13 Steps 1- 3, $20.53 per hour to $21.99 per hour dependent upon experience.
