IT Director will be responsible for strategically overseeing and enhancing the information technology infrastructure and operations across all locations. This role will also supervise the IT team and be responsible for the day-to-day technology of O’GARA.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred
10 + years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a manager role
Technical expertise with automotive programs and analytical systems is preferred
Ability to occasionally travel
Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays if needed
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage IT systems, network infrastructure, and internal software applications to ensure up-time, performance optimization, and security
Lead, manage and mentor IT teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, and technologies to enhance operations
Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard company data and systems
Stay updated on industry trends and threats to continuously strengthen the organization’s security posture
Assist in developing and carrying out policies and legal obligations, including implementing controls to ensure compliance with policies and legal obligations
Review and sign all monthly and quarterly incoming bills for Phone/Data Processing Vendors
Negotiate with all information technology vendors and create cost-efficient contracts, which shall be reviewed prior to execution
Maintain relationships with Vendor Account Managers
Communicate with management and analyze business, security and IT needs
Devise and establish all IT Department-related Standard Operating Procedures
Track and inventory all equipment to ensure it is up to date with the latest requirements and updates (e.g. server, computer, laptops, tablets, cell phones)
Ensure all equipment is accounted for and functional
Annual Network Equipment review with certified Network Engineers to review and ensure compliance with the latest network security updates
Responsible for all aspects of IT Helpdesk, both in person and remotely, 24/7 monitoring
Manage and assign incoming Helpdesk requests using FreshService Ticketing System
Responsible for maintaining and updating Physical Security and Cybersecurity, both internally and externally
Planning, Executing, and Completing Projects at New and Existing Locations
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Compensation: $160,000-$190,000/annually (Depending on experience)
