Sr. Product Manager, Commercial Faucets

Kohler Co. is looking for a Senior Product Manager with exceptional critical thinking skills and a passion for innovation to develop and manage Commercial Faucets & IoT Category. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for creating strategic plans that deliver innovation and product leadership that delights customers and deliver long-term market share and financial objectives for the category.

The Senior Product Manager will manage the lifecycle of a product or a group of products. This involves managing products from ideation to launch, and through discontinuation. The Senior Product Manager owns the product strategy, conducts market research, identifies user needs, understands the competitive landscape, and creates a roadmap for the products. The Senior Product Manager leads and works with cross-functional teams to develop and launch the products and monitor their performance. You will be joining a strong global brand committed to living on the leading edge in design and technology of product and process.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop deep category level insights inclusive of trends, market and consumer intelligence.

Develop & own the 2-to-5-year product and innovation roadmaps.

Create a winning portfolio with defined product leadership attributes for each category.

Manage a portfolio of new product development projects and foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and accountability within the team.

Act as the internal and external focal point for the resolution of product issues (quality, cost, Owns P&L for their respective categorywarranty, performance) within the category(s) - own your category.

Plan and initiate new product development efforts to grow sales and profits in the category(s) of responsibility.

Provide clear definition for new product requirements including functional and emotional benefits, pricing strategy, launch timing, and quality.

Write and submit appropriate documentation to initiate new product efforts (Scope & ACT)

Provide voice of customer input throughout the new product development process.

Work collaboratively with GPI/NPI to ensure all new product development is meeting all the required targets and is being delivered on time.

Lead editorial visits/interviews, trade shows and industry events to promote the category.

Lead and interact globally with various cross functional teams and departments to collaborate and deliver objectives on schedule. Skills/Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any field. MBA preferred.

7+ years of product management, product marketing and/or related experience with strong analytical and presentation skills.

Hands-on, detail oriented, energetic, and results-driven

TRAVEL

Approximately 25%.

The salary range for this position is $122,750 - $156,850. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
