Work Schedule
20 to 40 hours/week, Flexible schedule
A two year or four-year college degree.
Three years’ experience with ELA, Math, or Science content area, including curriculum and instruction.
Three years’ experience with standards and related practices, if applicable, and the measurement of them.
Three years of experience creating high-quality curricular materials, including teacher-facing lesson plans and student activities.
Three years of experience with third-grade standards, curriculum, and assessment.
One year of experience with developing test items aligned to standards and practices for a variety of tests, including tests used for K-12 accountability and national benchmarks.
Three years of experience with designing and delivering professional learning opportunities for educators.
Position Overview
Assessment & Technology Solutions (ATS) and The Achievement & Assessment Institute (AAI) with the University of Kansas (KU) design and deliver test content and technology through agile, innovative development.
The Curriculum and Assessment Specialist will support the production of curricular, professional development, and assessment resources. The Curriculum and Assessment Specialist will help with the workflow of content at multiple stages of the development process.
Successful applicants will demonstrate deep and thorough expertise with K-12 Standards and related performance expectations.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S. by the effective date of the appointment. KU is not able to provide H-1B sponsorship for this position.

Position Requirements
