About the Role

We’re hiring an Accounting Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established structural engineering firm based in San Francisco. This hybrid role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and project accounting. You’ll lead core financial operations across U.S. and Mexico offices and support strategic initiatives for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations including payroll, A/P, A/R, and intercompany transactions

Manage consolidated financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations

Ensure tax and audit compliance across business and property filings

Supervise client invoicing and revenue projections; maintain fixed assets and lease registers

Lead improvements in accounting procedures and support budgeting efforts

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

Proficient in U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and transfer pricing

Skilled in Excel and accounting systems (AEC360 experience a plus)

Strong communication, organizational, and team management abilities

Experience with project accounting is highly desirable
