LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company based in Princeton, NJ. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary Accounting Specialist to join our team for a 2-month period to cover medical leave. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, accounts receivable, and aging reports, with some experience in accounts payable
Job Title: Temporary Accounting Specialist
Location: Princeton, NJ
Duration: 2 Months (Covering Medical Leave)
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr. (DOE)
Availability: Immediate Start
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Collections: Manage and execute collection activities to ensure timely receipt of payments.
Accounts Receivable: Process and monitor incoming payments, maintain accurate records, and reconcile accounts.
Aging Reports: Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action.
Accounts Payable: Assist with processing invoices, verifying transactions, and maintaining vendor records.
Financial Reporting: Generate and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to resolve any billing or payment issues.
General Accounting Support: Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on collections and accounts receivable.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Availability: Must be available to start immediately and work onsite Monday through Friday.
