2ND Shift Press Brake Operator Opening Can Start ASAP! 12PM to 1PM Monday-Thursday

Job Description

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating and inspecting sheet metal parts processed via a Cincinnati brake press. You will take into consideration bend allowances, blueprint call-outs, and overall product tolerances. Your role includes changing out tools and dies according to orders, using a forklift to move materials, and verifying order completion using production management software. You will receive training for any aspects you are unfamiliar with. The average bends per part range from 2-3, but can go up to 12. Average run size is 100-200, occasionally reaching a few thousand, with current orders running about 6,000 parts.

Responsibilities

Operate and inspect sheet metal parts using a Cincinnati brake press.

Consider bend allowances, blueprint call-outs, and product tolerances.

Change tools and dies as per order requirements.

Use a forklift to move materials.

Verify order completion using production management software.Essential Skills

Work Environment

The role is situated in a medium-sized sheet metal job shop that handles a mix of short and long-run parts, as well as simple and complex parts. The facility is modern with a digital, paperless environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
