We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to provide services supporting IT infrastructure and network services across multiple government sites. The ideal candidate will leverage ITIL best practices to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across all associated services.
Job Description
Responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure in a manner compliant with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance.leading IT Service Management across the organization.
Maintain the enterprise LAN and ensure its management systems are compliant with all relevant IAVAs.
Conduct weekly security scans of all networked equipment using the current approved network scanning tool and remediate vulnerabilities according to SLA.
Review the current approved end-point security compliance scanning tool provided reports and remediate identified vulnerabilities, as required.
Track Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance.
Create and submit appropriate security related reports such as intrusion, virus infection incidents, FISMA, and others as requested by the Government.
Create POA&Ms for identified vulnerabilities.
Continuously update progress on POA&Ms.
Report security compliance to higher level authorities and/or reporting structures.
Maintain the Information Security Plan.
Maintain Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) entries in support of RMF requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in ITSM support
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Experience/Certifications
Relevant technical BS degree
Applicable professional certifications such as Security+
ITIL Foundation certification (Basic).
Experience with common tools such as Tenable Nessus, Endpoint Detection tools.
