Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Manager of Security / Infrastructure is tasked with designing, implementing, and managing the organization's security infrastructure, policies, and procedures. The optimal candidate will possess substantial technical expertise in cybersecurity, complemented by an in-depth comprehension of cybersecurity frameworks and industry-standard best practices.
As a member of the Infrastructure and Security team the role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and roadmap design in alignment with the business strategy and the delivery of the capabilities required to achieve business success.
The successful candidate will be a highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Oversee the implementation and management of cybersecurity technologies.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks.
Collaborate with our security vendors.
Manage and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including incident investigation, containment, and recovery.
Plan and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Educate and train employees on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Ensure compliance - Stay up-to-date with and ensure adherence to relevant regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
Manage the security and automation team.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that cybersecurity risks are addressed. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on security architecture, threat intelligence, and incident response.
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) - preferred, but not required.
Experience in scripting/coding concepts.
Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Experience in managing and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
Strong technical skills in cybersecurity technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
