JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for supervising the operations of the warehouse and other objectives set forth by the Warehouse Manager.
JOB DUTIES
Manage warehouse personnel by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Responsible for allocating resources to meet immediate and long-term objectives set forth by the General Manager.
Verify training checklist is completed for all associates.
Ensure that all customer requirements and preferences are being met.
Participate in customer visits and ensure the warehouse and all personnel are prepared.
Persistent review of warehouse dashboard to look for trends.
Responsible for ensuring daily tow motor log is being completed.
Coordinate ERP-related activities such as inventory tracking, order processing, and resource management to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure the warehouse area is clean of debris and safety hazards.
General maintenance of the building.
Strive to minimize warehouse resource waste, including payroll hours, product inventory, and warehouse space.
Support ERP system integration and data migration efforts, ensuring accurate warehouse data and minimal disruption to daily operations.
Any other projects or assignments as directed by management. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
At least 5 years of experience working in a warehouse, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiples tasks at once
Ability to be flexible with working hours, including Saturdays.
Ability to organize, set priorities, and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Prior experience implementing or assisting with the implementation of an ERP system EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant job experience
