Legal Secretary / Paralegal

A respected law firm with three attorneys is seeking a skilled Legal Secretary/Paralegal to support attorneys in the areas of commercial real estate, estate planning, tax, transactions, and litigation. This full-time, hourly role offers competitive pay based on experience, up to $60,000.

Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Baldwin County Area

Compensation: Up to $60,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities may include:

Drafting and revising legal documents in Microsoft Word

Managing communication with clients, courts, and third parties

Assisting with real estate closings and title documentation

Preparing estate planning and business entity documents

Supporting litigation through document filing, discovery, and trial prep

Managing calendars, travel arrangements, and billing support

Filing electronically with courts and agencies, including PACER

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in a legal secretary or paralegal role

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel; QuickBooks and SoftPro experience a plus

Strong communication and organizational skills

College degree preferred

Must be familiar with Mobile and Baldwin County courthouses

Candidates must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
