MBS is hiring an Operations Manager in Dayton, OH. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery.

Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes, implement strategies to enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

Quality Control: Work with QA to implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet required standards.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure timely availability of operational materials.

Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Employee Relations: Oversee and manage manufacturing employees, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Supply Chain Management: Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage the overall supply chain.

Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols.

Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure operations are running efficiently.

Problem Solving: Address production issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

REQUIREMENTS

Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a team of manufacturing employees.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and suppliers.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Understanding of various manufacturing processes and technologies.

Budgeting and Financial Management: Ability to develop and manage budgets.

Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is often required.

Experience in manufacturing operations management is highly desirable.

Experience in machining or metal forming manufacturing industries required.
