The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for a Custodian (2nd shift) position at Pickerington High School Central.

This is a 12 month position. Work hours are 2:00pm - 10:30pm.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalency.

Preferred previous custodial work experience.

Ability to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Experience operating heating and ventilating equipment.

Ability to read basic operating instructions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of technical building systems (or ability to learn).

Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 80 pounds.

Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Demonstrated aptitude for successful task completion.

Ability to contribute to a safe, clean, positive, and comfortable environment.

Ability to follow directions and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Friendly and dependable.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse populations.
