Here's what you will do as a Controls Engineer:

Lead kick-off and project requirement meetings with customers and internal staff.

Complete advanced design, development and testing of electrical equipment and systems, industrial process control systems, computers, computer systems and networks, and computer software.

Conduct the installation, commissioning and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems - which may include travel to the customer location.

Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.

Conduct advanced PLC programming, HMI design, and electrical design.

Conduct advanced troubleshooting, testing, and debugging.

Create and update project documentation in accordance with prescribed standards.

Support on-site field service and emergency calls.

Assist with quoting projects, writing specifications, and creating schedules and technical reports.

Use independent judgement in problem solving following established guidelines.

Give technical guidance to less experienced engineers or technicians assigned to work on a common project.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years education in automation related coursework and 4 years of work-related experience OR 4 year degree in electrical or related field of engineering and 2 years of related work experience.

Proficiency in Outlook/Microsoft Office products.

Hold valid driver's license with ability to drive to client sites.
