Polisher and Buffer in Anoka, MN, Pay $20-22/hr

Job Description

In this role, you will begin by using a hand grinder to smooth out rough edges and polish metal to a pristine finish. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in basic fabrication, which includes cutting metal to length using a tape measure, operating a brake press, spot welding, buffing, and preparing items for painting. You may also assist in other departments such as assembly, packaging, and paint as needed.

Responsibilities

Smooth and polish metal surfaces using a hand grinder.

Cross-train in basic metal fabrication tasks.

Cut metal to specified lengths using a tape measure.

Operate machinery such as brake presses and spot welding equipment.

Assist in racking items for painting.

Support other departments including assembly, packaging, and paint when necessary.Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Experience in reading a tape measure.

Experience with shop classes such as welding, automotive, woodworking, or machine/tool.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
