Job Description
Join our team where you will be welding and building structural components such as catwalks, stairways, handrails, and support structures.
Responsibilities
Produce and assemble steel structures and equipment according to specifications.
Perform assembly, gathering, and welding of steel materials for products.
Understand and complete work by reading blueprints.
Operate hand tools such as grinders, drills, and impacts per job requirements.
Follow safety requirements while performing all work duties.
Meet or beat project deadlines to fulfill production requirements and demands.
Ensure work meets quality standards as determined by quality control and production supervision.
Maintain and help improve department performance metrics of on-time, complete, and error-free delivery.
Operate overhead crane and unload raw materials.
Perform 5S duties, record keeping of scrap, housekeeping, and trash removal from work cell.
Conduct all quality control activities for assigned work cell.
Possess the authority to reject material for quality issues.
Collaborate with area lead and supervision on materials needed to perform duties.
Adapt to other duties, responsibilities, and activities as they may change or be assigned.Essential Skills
High school degree or GED required.
Ability to pass weld test: 2G Single Bevel Groove on a 1” plate.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprint drawings.
Capability to read tape measure to ensure accuracy.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in MIG, structural welding, and fabrication.
Positive 'Can Do' attitude and willingness to ensure orders are assembled on-time, complete, and error-free.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work a standard shift from Monday to Thursday, with common Friday shifts, totaling approximately 50 hours a week for half of the year. Choose between 1st shift (6a-4:30p) and 2nd shift (4:30p-3:00a). Expect mandatory Fridays from January to July, with potential Saturday shifts. Enjoy a supportive environment with a focus on safety, wearing work-appropriate jeans, shirts, and steel-toed boots. PAPR hoods will be provided, with options for backpack or belt PAPRs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.26 - $26.99/hr.
