Job Title: Wire Assembly Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Wire Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and preparing wires up to 16 feet long with connectors and insulators, running wires through machines, and ensuring quality standards are met before final inspection.
Responsibilities
Strip, pull, and coil wires up to 15-16 feet in length.
Attach connectors and insulators to wires.
Run wires through machines to fasten clamps and prepare for kitting.
Ensure all work order tickets remain with raw components until parts are used up, and dispose of tickets once assembly is placed in QA.
Return extra parts and clean up after completing a build work order, placing parts on the designated cart with the pick ticket.
Double-check order quantity and quality before submitting to QA.
Print labels and navigate customer apps; seek QA guidance for training.
Report any damaged or malfunctioning tooling immediately.
Perform end-of-day clean-up responsibilities.
Follow work instructions provided on the login page and consult Excel control plan work instructions.Essential Skills
Basic math skills including adding and subtracting.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs.
Stand for 8+ hours a day.
Basic computer literacy, including navigating a tablet and reading emails.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in kitting, assembly, or general production is beneficial.

Work Environment
The role is located in a clean, temperature-controlled warehouse with a laid-back atmosphere. The company, a contract distributor of electronic components, deals with various commodities, including custom, mechanical, and electrical components. Employees are provided a dress code of jeans or shorts with no holes and a t-shirt, with company shirts issued after 30 days. Fridays are casual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
