Friday and Saturday 3 pm-11 pm(Downtown Sarasota) or Saturday and Sunday 4 pm- 11 pm (Siesta Key)

Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.

Respond promptly to alarms and emergency calls, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.

Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.

Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with security policies.

Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid and CPR as needed.

Document incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences in detailed reports for management review.

Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve security issues.

Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.

Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.

Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is essential.

Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications related to security are a plus.

Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and integrity in all actions.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $18.00 - $20.00/hour.
