Position Summary
Familylinks is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of social, recreational, educational, and informational programs at our Senior Center. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about enriching the lives of older adults and has strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Career Advancement Opportunities Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of senior center programs, classes, and events.
Provide guidance and technical support to staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all contractual and funding requirements in collaboration with the Directors.
Recruit, interview, and manage volunteers, including scheduling and day-to-day coordination.
Develop and distribute internal and external communications such as newsletters, flyers, and public service announcements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for public inquiries about center services.
Support the Vintage House Council and collaborate with community partners and contractors on grant-funded initiatives.
Design and implement outcome-based evaluations for programs and services.
Plan and develop new classes, workshops, and events, including monthly and quarterly calendars.
Provide direct supervision and mentorship to Program Assistants, Project Coordinators, and the Information & Assistance Specialist.
Assist participants and instructors with problem-solving and support needs.
Collaborate with the Vintage team to ensure seamless center operations and provide coverage as needed.
Complete all required reports and documentation in a timely manner. Supervisory Duties
Approve timecards, time-off requests, and expense reports within 24 hours.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development for staff.
Manage personnel matters and foster a positive, productive team environment. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of program management experience, preferably in a senior services or nonprofit setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with program evaluation tools.
