Position Summary
The Solutions Architect role involves assisting both outside and inside sales representatives in discovering and presenting technical solutions, responding to customer requests for information or proposals, and architecting complex solutions beyond the scope of a client partner’s Managed Service agreement. This role requires understanding business problems faced by C-level executives and providing strategic, solutions-driven approaches. Responsibilities include working with customers to determine needs and budgets, architecting complex solutions, collaborating with the Project team to create accurate statements of work for major infrastructure projects, and participating in post-project reviews.

Additional Responsibilities
Assist outside and inside sales representatives in discovery and presentation of technical solutions.
Respond to requests for information or requests for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions.
Architect complex and non-complex solutions that fall outside of the coverage of a client partner’s Managed Service agreement.
Ability to understand business problems of C-level executives and provide solutions-driven approaches to solving problems.
Strategic approach to technical selling with a professional understanding of customer expectations.
Work with customers to determine needs and budget.
Work with Project Manager to ensure accurate statement of work creation for all major infrastructure projects. This includes Project timeline, schedule and labor estimates.
Create project charters for pre-project validation and approvals.
Participate in post-project meetings to review key project success metrics and lessons learned.
Help facilitate handoff from sales and partner success teams to project team.
Work independently or as part of a team to research and develop new products and services for organization to offer.

Education and Experience
5-10 years of related experience or relevant coursework required.
ConnectWise experience preferred.
Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a wide variety of technology infrastructure, deployment, cloud, and migration projects.
Advanced knowledge in project management principles.
Experience using ConnectWise or other ticketing, incident management or project management applications.
Certifications and Licenses
Professional Project Management certification(s) preferred such as CAPM, PMP, CompTIA Project+ required.
Microsoft Professional IT certifications (MCP, MCSA, MCSE) preferred.
MS-100, MS-500, AZ-104 preferred.
Cisco CCNA, CCIA, CCEA required.
Education
High School Diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred).
