Our client is a thriving Health Services Non-Profit Organization dedicated to improving lives through its impactful mission. With a strong commitment to serving the community and an excellent workplace culture, the organization is experiencing consistent growth and is seeking a talented Director of Finance to join its leadership team.

Position Overview:

This is a critical leadership role within the organization, reporting directly to the CFO and partnering closely with the CEO and other senior leaders. The Director of Finance will oversee and lead essential financial operations to ensure the organization continues to deliver on its mission with financial stability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Close & Reporting: Direct and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process as well as the preparation of accurate financial statements.

Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for annual external audits, ensuring compliance and smooth execution.

Cash Management: Oversee cash flow, ensuring optimal utilization of resources to meet operational and strategic goals.

Grant Accounting & Reporting: Manage and monitor grant-related accounting activities, reporting compliance, and funding reconciliation.

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Billing Oversight: Oversee key transactional finance functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Payroll Management: Supervise payroll administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); CPA designation (strongly preferred).

Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or related fields, including at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity.

Non-Profit industry experience is essential, with deep familiarity managing finances for mission-driven organizations.

Healthcare industry experience is highly desirable, particularly knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes.

Expertise in GAAP standards and grant compliance in the non-profit sector.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the executive team and external stakeholders.

Compensation$130,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
