Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our culinary operations in North Olmsted, OH. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu execution, staff leadership, inventory control, and maintaining the highest food and safety standards. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume setting—perfect for someone who is confident on the line and capable of inspiring a team.
What we can provide you:
Pay: $45-75k; based on experience
5 days a week; roughly 55 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily kitchen operations with a focus on consistency, speed, and quality
Manage, train, and develop kitchen staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment
Ensure all dishes are prepared to spec, maintaining flavor, presentation, and portion standards
Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings
Monitor food and labor costs, minimize waste, and control inventory
Enforce strict health and safety standards and ensure cleanliness throughout all kitchen areas
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
Solid understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification (preferred)
