As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

Site Location: North Las Vegas, NV.

On-Call schedule: This is an On-Call assignment with at least a minimum of 24hrs in a week. Must be open to any shift, on any of the 7 days of the work week. To be explained during the interview.

Competitive hourly wage of $17.51 / Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities for Response Security Guard:

Provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.

Respond quickly to critical situations.

You provide critical access control using screening guests, employees, vendors, and other guests. You would also screen people upon exiting.

You provide extra security patrolling the grounds inside and outside of the facility by car, golf cart, and/or foot.

Working with trucks incoming and outgoing, checking manifests, IDs, paperwork.

You will be providing appropriate badges at the facility.

You have excellent ability to read and write detailed reports.

You are expected to enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.

You are proficient in working with electronics.

You are able to maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment; and follow proper procedures.

You are certified in the areas of CPR/AED or can obtain them after an offer within 2 weeks or less.

You will mostly be in the yard area, handling outside missions.

Qualifications for Response Security Guard:

Must be able to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time, and handle any weather conditions.

Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.

Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

You have at least 1 year of truck gate experience.

You have at least 2 years security experience, with 1 year in a fast-paced environment, or equal Military/Law Enforcement.

You have a valid PILB in hand.

You have a HS Diploma or GED in hand, or higher degree.

You have, or can obtain, within 2 weeks a certification in CPR/AED.

You can pass an extensive screening process.

You are a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized.
