Available Position: Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is a certified accounting professional with at least 5 years of comprehensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting, including advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of financial record-keeping, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and providing strategic recommendations to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and management reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
Process payroll and ensure compliance with all payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Manage invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor/customer account records.
Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements, including preparation and filing of sales tax, payroll tax, and 1099 forms.
Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, and consultants as needed.
Stay current with QuickBooks Online features, accounting best practices, and regulatory changes; recommend and implement process enhancements.
Integrate QuickBooks Online with other business tools and software as needed.
Job Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent accounting certification required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in bookkeeping and accounting, including at least 3 years of advanced QuickBooks Online usage.
QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification is a strong plus.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proven ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable business recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related office software.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
