The position of Human Resource Generalist is far from one-dimensional. You will provide HR Support to the organization, assisting with day-to-day operations. You will ensure that all HR-related policies and procedures comply with standard legal practices. You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like hiring, organizing trainings, and promoting policies that create an efficient and conflict-free workplace. Some Payroll duties will be included. You will participate in implementing the HR-related and or administrative programing in Pipeline’s grant programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Creating onboarding plans for new hires to educate them on company guidelines

Assist in talent acquisition, recruitment and organizing trainings and other initiatives

Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and other policies that relate to efficient agency operations.

Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form and make certain records are up-to-date and confidential

Execute some payroll related responsibilities

Assist CEO in community outreach efforts, coordinate meetings, event planning and uses multi-tasking skills in implementing grants and other agency programming.

Assist in training and development, identifying training needs, coordinate workshops and support professional development opportunities for employees.

Requirements & Skills:

Excellent communication and people skills with an aptitude in problem-solving.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Therapy Notes Software.

Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.

This is primarily a Monday-Friday in-office position with some scheduling flexibility.

Education & Experience:

Proven experience as an HR Generalist, administrative assistant or related experience.

BA in Business Administration or relevant field.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
