One of our companies is currently looking for a Software Engineer – ITDR (Ruby/Rails) in the United States.

This is an opportunity to join a cutting-edge cybersecurity product team dedicated to defending users through identity-based threat detection. As a Software Engineer, you’ll work across the stack to design, build, and optimize tools that analyze login behavior, detect suspicious activity, and stop hackers before damage is done. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, security experts, and product teams to create scalable, intelligent solutions that respond to real-world threats. This role demands curiosity, technical excellence, and a problem-solving mindset to innovate in a fast-moving security landscape.

Accountabilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using Ruby on Rails

Build scalable data pipelines and detection models that separate signal from noise

Collaborate with security researchers to develop defenses against modern hacking strategies

Develop internal tools to support Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows

Conduct code reviews, implement automated testing, and ensure engineering quality

Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical problems across the stack

Continuously improve team workflows and contribute to a culture of technical excellence

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software engineering, building complex products

At least 2 years working with Ruby on Rails in a production environment

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug across a distributed system

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience working with RESTful APIs and understanding authentication/authorization flows

Familiarity with identity providers like Microsoft 365, Okta, or Google Workspace (preferred)

Experience with tools such as Redis, ElasticSearch, or MongoDB (preferred)

Background or interest in cybersecurity is a plus
