The Senior Software Engineer - Oracle ERP is a fully participating member of an agile feature team, working independently on software development and problem resolution. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions/products supporting the Emirates Group Business.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To
Collaborate with senior technical engineers in the technical design process by analyzing application requirements.
Translate technical solutions for small to medium initiatives into detailed design and code.
Write secure, optimized code following Emirates Group standards.
Participate in rotational on-call support, resolving production issues within SLAs with minimal supervision.
Ensure quality by implementing comprehensive unit testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
Identify and fix defects with minimal rework.
Practice code refactoring to minimize technical debt.
Implement logging and monitoring in the code.
Stay updated with relevant technologies and apply learnings to improve code quality.
Adhere to and contribute to Emirates Group IT coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in:
Full implementation, upgrade, and support of Oracle E-business Suite (EBS) and related development/enhancement.
Oracle application framework (OAF) expertise.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle workflows, and XML Publisher.
Experience with Oracle Access Manager and Java/JavaScript.
Exposure to exposing RESTful APIs via an integrated SOA gateway.
Strong functional experience in at least one of the following EBS modules: Human Capital Management (HCM), Oracle Financials, or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
