IT System Administrator
You should have a minimum of 6 year’s experience in Windows Server and Desktop support. A self starter and able to take initiative on resolving issues and implementing solutions. Plan, coordinate, direct and implement IT-related activities for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage / maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, software, and user accounts.
· Manage / Configure Active Directory Group Policy configuration, file management (shared / secured private structures) and in-house software management.
· Strong MS Server migration experience.
· Data Backup and recovery including monitoring to ensure data integrity.
· Support, configure, upgrade, and maintain approximately 40 Windows Workstations and Thin Clients, including new system rollouts.
· Configure and Manage Router / Layer 2 switching.
· Troubleshoot network issues and monitor network health.
· Provide in-house application and database support for all user groups.
· Assist with database reporting and spreadsheet functions.
· Maintain and configure Voip phone system, including user management.
· Offer technical expertise for IT network optimization and upgrades.
· Implement new system technologies and migration from legacy systems.
Must-Have Skills:
· Operating Systems: MS Hyper-V, Windows Server (2003–2022), Windows Desktop (7–11)
· Networking: Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, VPN, VLAN, LAN/WAN, VoIP, WiFi, Router & Access Point Configuration.
· Security: Firewall Best Practices
· Database: MS Access - SQL
· Scripting: Windows CMD Script, PowerShell
· Hardware: Workstation/server assembly, OS & driver installation, NAS, PC peripherals, SCSI, SATA, RAID, NFS
· Remote Access: RDP
· Antivirus: Malware mitigation, scanning, and quarantine across various software
· Software: Microsoft 365, Sharepoint
· Mobile: iOS, Android
· Email: Exchange Server, POP/SMTP, Gmail
· Internet: DNS management; Domain Migration
· Work Approach: Strong multitasking skills, able to work independently and collaboratively
· Project Management: Planning, implementation, maintenance, and documentation
· Training & Development: Provide staff training and support
Bonus Skills:
● Operating Systems: Any Unix-based OS
