We are currently seeking a Processor to work in either a client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

A specimen processor will take specimens, process and accession them per Labcorp protocol. They will be a resource to the client for information regarding test codes and specimen types (will research and provide information for the client). They will reconcile data to ensure that resulting is occurring in a timely manner. They will perform quality checks to ensure proper specimen processing and storage occurs. They will maintain adequate supply stock to perform their duties.

Job Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Previous experience as a processor

· Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

· Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

· Ability to work independently or in a team environment

· Comfortable working under minimal supervision

· Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed

· Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas

Accurately identify and label specimens

Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities

Meet department activity and production goals

Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples

Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Resolve and document any problem specimens

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:15an 5:15pm with 1-hour lunch break

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.

Work Location: Gainesville, GA

This position does not require you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
