Physician Assistant (PA) - Urgent Care in Beckley, WV

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a Locum Tenens opportunity in Beckley, West Virginia . This position is in a fast-paced urgent care clinic setting, ideal for experienced providers who can work independently and manage a variety of minor acute conditions.

Position Overview: Schedule: Shift Length: 12-hour shifts Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Days: Monday through Sunday Coverage Need: 1 provider per shift Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients with: Cold/flu symptoms Rashes, abrasions, and minor burns Sprains, strains, and minor fractures Splint application when necessary Refer all high-acuity cases to the local emergency department Perform minor urgent care procedures Work autonomously with clinic support staff Requirements: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant West Virginia Medical License – Required DEA License – Required Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) – Required Previous Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, Beckley offers a warm community feel, abundant natural beauty, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure.
