SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) Montgomery, AL (Hybrid) MUST: Experienced SQL Server DBA ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE ( Interim SECRET) 1–3 years of professional experience as a SQL Server DBA or in a related database role.

Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later.

Knowledge of T-SQL, SSMS, and basic performance tuning.

Understanding of database backup and recovery strategies.

Familiarity with database security best practices.

CompTIA Security+ highly preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). DUTIES: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Monitor database performance, perform tuning, and troubleshoot issues.

Perform regular database backups and restorations in accordance with organizational policies.

Support database security and access controls, including user account management.

Execute database updates, patches, and service packs as needed.

Support data migration, replication, and ETL operations as directed.

Generate reports and run queries as requested by team leads or stakeholders.

Assist in documenting database processes and standard operating procedures.

Collaborate with application developers and system administrators to resolve database-related issues.
