We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor and are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, assertive, and customer service driven. This position requires someone who is detail oriented and is able to lead the warehouse team to ensure we have a clean, safe, and accurate warehouse operation.

SCHEDULE: 1st Shift, Monday- Friday

Essential Job Functions:

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical / Cycle counts; reconciling with data storage system.

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement; and overall organization.

Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.

Maintains warehouse staff by orienting and training employees, in addition to assisting with recruiting and selecting.

Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Will assist with disciplinary decisions leading termination of employment, as needed.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Coordinates the dispatch of pickups and delivery drivers. Skillfully use the tools provided to efficiently track and manage drivers.

Meets all Receiving Timelines. ( All orders received will be checked in, bin located, paperwork turned in within 24hrs or less)

Meets all customer service expectations, ( ensure shipping of products to our branch’s, ensure pick up and deliver of products with our delivery drivers)

Exceeds all expectations of communication with internal and external customers

Requirements:

Excellent time management skills of self and management of others' duties

Ability to lift heavy parts over 75lbs

Ability to supervise others – previous experience a plus

Understanding of how to delegate work and get the best performance from the team

Experience with inventory control and equipment maintenance

Analyzing information and reporting skills

Good judgement

Advanced computer skills
