RESPONSIBILITIES
Creation of Project Estimates and Proposals – New Business Development
Correctly build project-specific estimates utilizing RTMC estimating tools; all estimates and proposals to be synchronized and match specific job requirements.
Accurately estimate and communicate assumptions through a detailed project proposal.
Routinely review estimates with SVP of Business Development and the RTMC Estimating Team.
Identify and communicate value-engineering opportunities unique to the project(s).
Creation of Project Specific Budgets – Prestart
Precisely create scaled takeoffs from engineered drawings for system materials required for the plumbing and heating scopes.
Thoroughly analyze all variables of building conditions and create a documented labor plan based on historical jobs of similar construction.
Methodically perform calculations with established tools to produce material lists by floor/area for residential scope.
Expertly create material lists for plumbing and HVAC systems based on unique job needs in consideration of constructability requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Clear, effective communications skills – both written and verbal
Intermediate mathematical abilities
Aptitude for prioritizing and coordinating a variety of tasks
Independent and proactive problem-solving and critical thinking
Disposition for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization
Willingness to accept feedback and make corrections as needed
Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data
Proficient in using basic office equipment
Mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel plus Internet and email; proficient with the remainder of the Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to investigate, be resourceful and self-sufficient
A high school diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred, or 5 years of field experience (plumbing and HVAC)

LOCATION: On-site
SALARY: $68,000-$88,000 Annually, Exempt
