Come join our growing team at Watermark Home Services, our Accounting Department is growing and we are searching for an Accounting Manager. Watermark Home Services is Ohio's largest conglomerate of Plumbing, Drain, Heating & Cooling, and Electrical companies.

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead a team of accountants, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role plays a critical part in helping senior management make informed financial decisions and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the staff and senior accountants to drive efficiency and performance

Oversee timely and accurate financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, audits and any other internal or external reporting requests

Coordinate with external CPA firms on audits and valuations

Conduct financial reviews with the operational leadership team

Support the integration of newly acquired entities into corporate financial systems

Maintain robust internal controls and systems to ensure data integrity

Participate in a wide variety of special project and compile a variety of special reports

Perform additional duties as assigned

EOE/AAP/M/F/V/D/SORequirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

5+ years of accounting experience, including in a supervisory or lead role

Strong knowledge of GAAP; construction accounting a plus

CPA preferred

Proficient in accounting software and Excel

Excellent analytical and communication skills

Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including a background check and drug screening.
