Temp to Hire

Shift: 1st shift (6am – 4:30) M – F

Pay Rate: $18.00 hourly

Location: Griffith

**Duties include:

**

Set up and

operate manual machines and tools to produce precision parts

Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.

Measures, examines, or tests completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications

Use precision instruments, such as micrometers, and calipers, height gages

Maintains machine tools in proper operational condition.

Studies sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.

Checks work pieces to ensure that they are properly lubricated or cooled.

Lays out, measures, and marks metal stock to display placement of cuts.

Fits and assembles parts to make or repair machine tools.

Sets up or operate machinery and cutting equipment.

Dismantles machines or equipment, using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.

Ability to troubleshoot machinery

**Qualifications:

**

Manual Machine Operating experience

2 – 3-year experience

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

You should be proficient in:

Troubleshooting Skills

Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills

Machine Setups for Production Runs

Excellent Communication Skills
