Responsibilities

Ascension Borgess is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider for our Internal Medicine clinic.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Borgess to provide medical services to patients.

Responsibilities:

Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.

Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.

Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.

Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board Physician Assistants Task Force obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by localCredentialing Office.

Preferred Credential(s):

Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.

Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
