JOB DESCRIPTION: The communications gameday team serve as members of the Bills gameday staff. The Bills communications gameday position plays an important role in media operations—including press box set-up, distribution of statistics and operating media will call.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate and staff the media will call window, assisting with credential distribution for media and team personnel
Run copies of quarterly stats to broadcast booths, teams or designated suites
Assist in various aspects of photography operations, including overseeing the photo workroom and the distribution of gameday materials
Be available to spot for visiting radio teams or the press box announcer if requested
Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be enrolled at an accredited university, majoring in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field; with interest in a career in sports communications
Must be available to work all Buffalo Bills home games (one preseason, nine regular season, and any post-season games)
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Have reliable transportation ensuring you can commute to and from work for all games at Highmark Stadium
Experience in professional or collegiate sports communications department preferred
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communications
Pay for the position is $15.50/hour.
