Our cutting-edge paper manufacturing facility in Fairlawn, NJ, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Maintenance to lead maintenance strategies for 10,000 HP motors and 4,000V systems in a high-energy production setting.

What You’ll Do: Maximize Machine Reliability: Develop and execute maintenance programs to boost performance and reduce downtime.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Oversee inspection schedules and advanced condition-monitoring systems.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.

Safety & Compliance: Champion workplace safety and regulatory adherence.

Cost & Budget Control: Manage maintenance budgets and optimize spare parts inventory.

Lead Equipment Upgrades: Drive innovation through machine installations, system enhancements, and plant-wide improvements.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations, engineering, and production teams to ensure smooth plant performance.

What You Bring to the Table: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred). Experience in heavy industrial maintenance (paper, steel, chemicals, or similar industries). Hands-on expertise with high-horsepower motors and high-voltage equipment.

Strong troubleshooting skills—you love solving problems under pressure.
