Position Overview: As a Retail Associate at Nine Line, you will play a key role in driving sales by delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive, lasting relationships.

You will represent the Nine Line brand and culture through every customer interaction while maintaining adherence to policies and procedures to foster a positive and efficient store environment.

Your contributions will directly impact both the store’s success and customer satisfaction.

Core Competencies: Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, coworkers, and leadership.

Adaptability: Open to receiving feedback and taking constructive action when necessary.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and move about for extended periods with occasional rest breaks.

Schedule Flexibility: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Multitasking: Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Shopify POS system and handling payment/cash transactions accurately.

Essential Functions: Customer Experience: Consistently embody Nine Line’s brand standards to deliver exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales performance.

Register Operations: Efficiently process register transactions while following company guidelines and procedures.

Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and supportive team environment through effective communication, mutual respect, and collaboration with coworkers.

Product Knowledge: Stay informed about current product offerings and share knowledge with customers and team members.

Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe by maintaining the sales floor, cash wrap, fitting rooms, and processing areas.

Customer Concerns: Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns in line with company policies, escalating issues to store leadership as necessary.

Inventory Management: Actively participate in daily restocking of the sales floor to ensure product availability.

Work Environment: This role is based in a retail store setting, with occasional time spent in a warehouse environment.

You will use standard retail equipment, including POS systems, telephones, and folding equipment, to carry out your tasks.

Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-Time: 40 hours per week Part-Time: 15-30 hours per week Both full-time and part-time associates will work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Travel: Travel is minimal, with occasional participation in company events.

Required Education and Experience: Retail experience is preferred but not required.
