Job Title: Temporary Scientist II Location: Alameda, California, 94502 (Onsite) Schedule: Monday – Friday Type: Contract Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientist II to join our Drug Discovery Sciences team.

This position through Joule will support the discovery of anti-cancer agents through the application of advanced LC-MS/MS techniques.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in bioanalysis and a background in pharmacokinetics, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.

Key Responsibilities Perform LC-MS/MS analysis of small molecules in biological matrices to support PK, TK, PD, and efficacy studies.

Conduct in vitro ADME studies (e.g., microsomal stability, protein binding, hepatocyte incubation). Maintain and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instrumentation for optimal performance.

Prepare clear, concise reports and present findings to project teams.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–5 years of experience, or Master’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, HRMS, and sample extraction in matrices such as plasma and tissues.

Proficient with Phoenix WinNonlin and LC-MS data analysis software (Sciex Analyst, Agilent MassHunter, etc.). Knowledge of peptide LC-MS analysis and experience with RapidFire/QTOF or QTRAP systems is a plus.
