Job Title: Systems Integration and Test Engineer Job Location: Woodland Hills MD 91367 Onsite Requirements: MATLAB CCA testing root cause & corrective action Job Description: Responsibilities: The candidate will serve as an Integration and Test Electrical Engineer for Sentinel Program, requiring the candidate to function in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
Daily responsibilities may include: Support the installation, integration, and testing of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom equipment used to further research efforts on superconducting microelectronic devices.
Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate equipment issues to support system build-out and sell-off.
Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead.
Collaborate with research scientists and systems engineers to perform system architecture characterization studies on various system components.
Design, develop, and implement testing methods for individual pieces of equipment (both custom and COTS) and entire systems.
Compile data and help to define changes required in testing methodology, equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and new testing requirements.
Performing hands-on electrical testing at CCA level test setup and execution Performing hands-on electrical testing at a systems level Incorporating hardware and/or software design changes Documenting & dispositioning hardware discrepancies, pursuing root cause & corrective actions Basic Qualifications for Principal Integration and Test: 5 Years with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or qualifying discipline; 3 Years with Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or qualifying discipline, or 1 year with a PhD Active DoD Secret Level security clearance Ability to innovate and lead digital transformation efforts Working knowledge in one of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++ Demonstrated ability to lead out at solving problems and driving all tasks to completion Ability to work at a fast pace, while multi-tasking, and still communicate effectively Ability to work in a team environment, and lead small projects or teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Hands-on electrical testing and diagnostic experience Experience in Test script development with HW interfaces Experience working with operational hazards such as overhead lifting, Thermal Chambers, and Vibration Test systems Experience with external customer interfacing including meetings, presentations & negotiations Experience performing formal requirements decomposition and/or verification Preferred Qualifications for Principal Integration and Test: 8 Years with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or qualifying discipline; 6 Years with Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or qualifying discipline, or 4 years with a PhD Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance.
Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and/or signal analyzers.
Working knowledge of standard design components: filters, couplers, splitters, amplifiers, etc.
Experience with MES, or other digital work instruction platform Ability to lead out at solving problems and driving all tasks to completion **3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position.
