Rate: $16.00-$18.00/HR

Available Shifts:

Sat - Tues: 3PM - 11PM

Sat & Sun: 7AM - 3PM

Sun - Tues: 10PM - 6AM

Mon - Fri: Days / Swings

Sun - Thurs: 10PM - 6AM

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

What Your Day May Look Like:

Greet vendors, client employees, and site visitors.

Conduct internal/external foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.

Monitor Entrance/exits, and provides guidance for site visitors.

Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system.

Provide an atmosphere in which all site visitors, client employee's and management know their needs are being met.

Present a good image to the client, client employee's, vendors and site visitors.

Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.

Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others.

Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.

Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.

Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

18 years of age or older.

High School Diploma or GED Required.

Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

Understands the nature of customer service, and interactions with the public.

Must have Swing shift availability.

Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.

Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and computers, camera monitoring, and reporting alarms.

Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Site Supervisor, and Office Management.

Must be open to communication and feedback from client representatives and Office Management.

Must take breaks and meals in accordance with legal requirements.

Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.

Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.

Mut be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and professional, and check customer receipts.

Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.

Must provide high quality customer service in-person, over the phone, and via radio.

Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.

Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
